The Scharloo district is located next to the city center of Punda. An old Jewish trading district, with its beautiful old warehouses, where you can see how trade was conducted in the past. The working-class district Fleur de Marie is also located in Scharloo, formerly old and dilapidated, but now beautifully renovated with a large dose of positivity from the people and beautiful works of art. The homeless shelter is also located in the Scharloo district. The homeless are also regularly encountered in the neighborhood. You will also meet some local residents who will give you a glimpse into their lives.
